Polaroid Emulsion Transfer

As my shooting with polaroid is growing I'm finding images that people have removed the emulsion from the frame and such it onto thing so i wanted to try with the help of my house mate with delicate hands and nails.
what you have to so is:
  1. cut around the image to remove the frame
  2. Put boiling water in a tub (bigger enough to fit the object you want to attach emulation to)
  3. live in boiling water for around 1 minute
  4. peel away the back from the polaroid (its the dark part)
  5. in the boiling water clean the white from the back of the image
  6. put back in the water for 30 seconds - 1 minute the emulation will then slide off the clear plastic in the front
  7. next put the polaroid into the water to open it up anger get it in position (can be very temperamental)
  8. side the object you want to transfer under the emulsion, once in position carefully pull out of the water holding the emulsion in place
  9. if the emulsion have moved with wet hand while emulsion is wet move pack in place i would recommend using a clean paintbrush.

My Final Result

The process in time-lapes

A failed attempt that actually didn't fail
