Time Zero

I was watching a film called Time Zero: The Last Year of Polaroid Film.
There was so many things to pick up on, none of the film was about technique its a documentary about the feelings people who shoot polaroid towards them, towards the end they introduce Impossible Project and we get more information on them.
The people who was being interviewed come out with some pretty good quotes in what they said so I'm going to sum up what was said roughly.

Todd Brilliant
polaroid has no cultural boundaries he was once on holiday saw two girls not seen polaroid before Todd took their portrait, so the two girls saw it develop smiled from amazed so took another of them smiling that was Todds winner photo and give the girls their portrait. This is an example of polaroids speaks every language.
Todd once saw a wedding reception there was a pro photographer with the "best" gear, Todd took a polaroid they loved it, its the only photo they have on wedding day.
"Instant artefact instant memories"
Polaroid is in "the moment"
Polaroid matters as it matters to Todd and people he admires.
Pros have even cut their teeth working with polaroid.
1 decent Polaroid over hundreds of digital images.
Digital is too sterile polaroid is more RAW.
Todd dress in real cloths I want a real photograph.
Todd take Polaroids to take photographs.
"If the worlds don't miss it fuck them"

Dan Weissman
In'89 Weissman took photos of kids was mobbed by the curiosity went though all his film packs
Weissman go on to say that polaroid in a social experience with everyone even with yourself if you're taking photos on your own you get this personal amazement.
Holding the tangible analog seeing the analog silver light and dyes to form into the moment you just captured.
SX-70 and 600 the best experience of photography.

Land wanted to create a more user friendly film not like pull a a part film that used in previous older instant cameras.
Land wanted to make a camera and film so anyone can be artist its so straight forward to use.
A tool for communication.

Lou Noble
Took around 4000 Polaroids.
Noble started to take pictures for something to do it has also helped to become more social.
you get more intimate with the photo and subject as the camera has a fixed focal.

Kim Van Groos
The image the photographer saw, the image the photographer took, this is the image I saw, this is the image I took.
Digital is easy is too easy and too clean.
polaroid creates concrete memories.
Polaroid closing their is like a death of a friend.
