The challenge we had during this shoot was the The Law of Reflection which is described with a diagram. Shooting a fork with a curved shape changes the angle of reflection so making the use of black card as diffusers even more important, these used to remove unwanted light from the subjects.
How the image was constructed was we shot on black perspex to get a clean reflection of the fork. The final light set up is below in the lighting diagram and final image is below that.
