I spent a few hours in Mike Harrington's studio, I was mainly working with his assistant who was shooting a hand dryer this was good experience as I found out leaning to shoot tethered was essential and trying to get a product photo of a glossy item we had to do in a tent to eliminate reflection, the client wanted black lines along the sides to define the curved shape. To do this we cut strips from card and putting them in the tent and use the reflection to define the shape.
It was fun to spend the time there, I learnt a lot I want to spend longer there as Mike was so generous to give me a few hours and willing to let me work a little with him.
