When the Jurassic World trailer came out I wasn't happy that the sign colour was changed from red to blue whats happened to keeping things original, sentimental value and that.
Upon further watch there was so so much more blue the trailer was full of elements of blue from the kids bag and peoples shirts on the tram to the grading of the background of the film. Even Chris Pratts shirt is blue.
The blue colour grading in the mid tones fit the film when there has been shots filmed at night, its cold, dark and horrific people are being killed but the hybrid dinosaur.
The theme of the park is blue its clinical, clean. Blue is known to be a symbol of stability and trust the theory I have is that we are meant to feel that the park is reopen we trust the park is now safe, the trust and stability we build is broken and the blue colour then gives a cold tone though out the rest of the film.
