I started to get into colour grading my photos in my BA6 project. As I was using green grading I noticed the Matrix had a strong green grading to it, especially when they are in the Matrix. It separates the real world from the Matrix.
It make sense when they are in the Matrix to be green as the coding for it is green, its also rare for the colour in the Matrix to be bright its mostly monotones.
In the real world the colour gradient, is very cold, metallic.
The colours are muted this mixed with the gradient shows show the horrid gritty living conditions, there has been a lot of dedication how the visual element effect the scenes.
