I have been told to look at a few funding schemes and to research more, I have been told if I can find exhibitions to go to and people in Japan that I can meet that will help my project it will strengthen my applications.
I actually would love to meet Julie Watai - http://juliewatai.jp/ Julies work has the nerdy look and subject matter, she is also inspired by Anime and Manga. Being there for a month may mean I could assist her on 1 or 2 shoots.
